Autumn Kitchens
Welcome Autumn Kitchens, our first Rebel Ambassador from America's East Coast! She first came into the world of surfing when she was surprised with a surfing lesson on the morning of her 15th birthday. "Since then I haven't left the surf school!" tells Autumn. She has been teaching surfing in Rockaway, New York for the past 5 years. "Teaching young kids to surf and being comfortable in the water is a big reason I love surfing. Watching a 6-year-old go from being afraid of the ocean to wanting to catch more waves, is the best part of my job."
Autumn also uses surfing to manage her fears and get out of her head, which helps her feel free, brave, and joyful. She recently graduated from college and plans to focus on travel with a focus on surfing.
In addition to surfing, Autumn has a real passion for holistic medicine and wellness: "One day I want to open my own wellness center and incorporate the values of surfing into this practice." We will definitely visit her when she does!
